Niall Cleary is Head of the Oakland Aerospace, Defence and Security sector. He has extensive  operational experience at a senior level within medium sized and large complex multinational organisations.

His experiences have primarily been in identifying and implementing cost effective performance improvement initiatives and organisational culture change centred on quality and operational excellence. This includes periods in manufacturing, utilities and R&D located in the UK, America, Europe and Japan.

As a graduate Chemist, Niall started his career in R&D and then moved into quality management within UK and US based multinational organisations. He supplemented his experiences with an MBA at the European Centre for TQM in Bradford where he first met Professor John Oakland. Niall went on to take up senior quality, manufacturing and operational roles that centred on managing change, improving performances, reducing risk and embedding value within demanding international sectors.
